iPhone 17e Debuts with A19 Chipset and MagSafe Charging
Apple has officially kicked off its latest product launch week with the introduction of the iPhone 17e. Positioned as the companyās more affordable flagship alternative, the new device builds upon its predecessor while maintaining the same starting price. Though it closely resembles last yearās model in design, the iPhone 17e introduces notable internal upgrades and enhanced accessory support.
Powered by the New A19 Chip
At the heart of the iPhone 17e is Appleās new A19 chipset. The processor promises improved performance and efficiency, making everyday tasks smoother and enhancing gaming capabilities. This version comes equipped with a 4-core GPU, delivering reliable graphics performance for most users.
The device also debuts Appleās latest C1X modem, engineered to offer better connectivity stability and improved network performance.
Familiar Display with Stronger Protection
The iPhone 17e retains its 6.1-inch OLED display with a 2532 x 1170 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The notch remains in place, housing the Face ID system and the front-facing camera.
One of the key upgrades this year is the introduction of Ceramic Shield 2 protection, offering improved durability against drops and scratches.
48MP Camera with Enhanced Image Processing
On the rear, the iPhone 17e features a single 48MP camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). It supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second with Dolby Vision, catering to users who prioritize high-quality video capture.
Apple has also enhanced portrait photography through a refined image processing system, resulting in better subject separation and improved detail in various lighting conditions.
For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 12MP front camera positioned within the notch.
MagSafe Support Returns
A significant addition to the iPhone 17e is MagSafe compatibility. Users can now take advantage of Appleās magnetic accessory ecosystem, including cases, wallets, and chargers. The phone supports 15W wireless charging and faster wired charging speeds, improving overall charging convenience.

The iPhone 17e includes:
