Poco f7 india launch might get a special edition but no pro or ultra variants

According to a post by tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), Poco is anticipated to launch the standard Poco F7 in India, accompanied by a "special edition" device, although details regarding this special edition remain unspecified. The previous Poco F6 was released in India with a unique "Deadpool Limited Edition" in July of the previous year, while the standard model debuted in May 2024.
The tipster further indicated that the expected Poco F7 Ultra may be "exclusive to global markets," and the Pro variant of the series is not set to launch in India at this time. He mentioned that there would be "more months to wait" and a "change in tactics," though he did not provide further clarification. This could suggest that the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra might eventually be introduced in India, but at a later date.
The Poco F7 is expected to debut with features akin to those of the Redmi Turbo 4, potentially incorporating a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC, a robust 6,550mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging capabilities, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is likely to feature a rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, complemented by a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The device may operate on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 and is anticipated to showcase a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
