Design, Security and Sensory Features

The device offers dual Nano-sim capacity to accommodate professional and personal life at one place. The body design of the device is apt for both youngsters and older people alike. Designed to fit perfectly well into user’s hands, its sleek body is no burden at 186g. The rear panel of the M20 is neither glass nor metal finish, rather plastic, unlike other high-end smart devices in the same price. Some users might see this as a downside but on the brighter side, it leaves room for far less damage in event of any slip with the device, which is usually not handled well by other delicate back panels. Also unlike the normal array of colours available, the Smartphone comes in ocean blue and charcoal black.

When it comes to privacy and protection of data, the device comes fully protected with its biometric authentication features. A fingerprint scanner and a fast face unlock.  Camera and Connectivity

The one thing that truly compliments the Infinity display of Samsung M20 is its Ultra Wide Dual Rear Camera. The primary camera is 13MP while the secondary is 5 MP and provides a 120° ultra wide angle. The primary camera comes with an F1.9 aperture. The Galaxy M20 camera provides great but not extraordinary results with bright light and does fairly well with fading light. If you love to click a few selfie daily than the 8MP, with its in-display flash, HDR and selfie focus, will do a good job for you. But the front camera does not come a flash unlike the rear camera. The camera can be used for both still photography as well as video recording. The video recording resolution is FHD (1920 X 1080) @30fps.

When it comes to connectivity, the M20 goes all out with WLAN (WiFi, WiFi Direct and hotspot) 2G, 3G, 4G, GPS, GPRS, Bluetooth 5.0 and Radio and 2.0 Type-C reversible connector USB.

Storage and Hardware

Samsung offers its users two different memory spaces of 32GB and 64GB (available memory 50.5GB), with an expandable memory slot of up-to 512GB. The RAM size is 4 GB. To support the display and multitasking capabilities of Galaxy M20 it comes with Exynos 7904 processor, complimented with a 1.8GHz dual-core and 1.6Ghz Hexa-core. The Operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo based Experience 9.5. The GPU is Mali-G71 MP2.

The 5000mAh battery gives a good battery life of up to almost two days. Although Samsung boasts 28 hours of videos with a full charge, but if you love to play games and surf the net frequently than daily charging would be for you. Fast charge is definitely an upside for emergency use. The battery is non-removable and gives a talk time of upto 29 hrs. The coming update around June for the Samsung Galaxy M20 promises to further improve and enhance its battery life.

The Galaxy M20 comes in rather affordable rates as compared to the smart devices with same specs and name tag. Its price in Pakistan is Rs. 34,999; in USD it is $ 250 while in India it is available in Rs.10,990.
