Realme X is Giving Google Phones a Tough Competition

Realme X is rumored to release in May 2019 and it is a phone that will be giving tough time to Google Pixel. This phone is expected to come with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, AMOLED screen, a dual rear camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor.

Release Date and Price

Realme X is expected to release in the UK on May 24^th. With a battery capacity of 4000mAH and a Snapdragon chipset, this phone will come at a price much lesser than the Pixel phones. It is expected to cost Rs 39,999 in Pakistan, 16,999 INR in India and $380 in USA.

AMOLED Display of Realme X

Realme X will be giving great viewing experience with its AMOLED touch screen and 16M color feature. The screen is 6.5 inches and has 396 ppi densities with 19:5:9 ratios. The resolution of this screen is 1080*2340 pixels. The contrast is quite impressive while the blacks are visible too. The display is also great for viewing in bright sunlight.

Fast Snapdragon for Ultimate Performance

Realme X runs on Android Pie 9.0 and has Color OS 6. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset and has an Octa-Core CPU while Adreno 618 is present as the GPU in the device. There is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, here is no SD card slot so you will not be able to expand the storage.

Camera

Realme X has a dual camera feature which compared to Google Pixel 3a. The main camera is 48MP which there is also a 5MP secondary camera that comes with a depth sensor. For video, there is 2160 pixels at 30 frames per second and 1080 pixels at 120 frames per second feature. With the LED flash, you will be able to take beautiful pictures even in the dark and HDR feature will add definition to your pictures.

The selfie camera is 16MP and it is actually a motorized pop up which means that the camera will pop up only when you are using it. The front camera also allows HDR feature and there is 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second video support.

Realme X: How is it better than Realme 3?

Realme 3 has a rating above 4 from the customers but does it match the Realme X? Let us find out. Realme 3 only has a 13MP camera while the 48 MP cameras on Realme X make it a better choice for taking pictures. The 6.2 inches screen of Realme 3 is also smaller than that of Realme X. In terms of batter, Realme 3 is a better option with its 4320 mAH battery.

Realme X is available in Blue/Black and White. It has support for Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio and a microUSB 2.0. The finger print sensor is under the display and there gyro and proximity sensors in the phone. The non-removable 3680mAH battery has fast charging 20W support.
