We have seen in 2019 that 5G is making an appearance but at the same time, telephoto zoom cameras are also huge. While Huawei P30 Pro is the best one in this regard, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is also upping the game with some camera tech. This phone is expected to be available in June 2019 with its 6.6 inches screen, AMOLED display, 48MP camera, Hybrid Dual SIM feature and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Design and Display

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom comes with a 6.6 inch display that has AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and 16M colors. Moreover, there is a massive 93.1% screen to body ratio for better viewing. The 1080*2340 pixels resolution will give you a great user-friendly experience along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for protection. It weighs 210grams and has dimensions of 6.38*3.04*0.37 inches. There is no notch in the screen and the lack of display cutout gives a liberating experience.

Moreover, the front selfie camera is also hidden and only pops out when you switch the camera to front-cam. The company claims that this feature can withstand five years, given the camera is used 100 times a day. The back is curved for a more ergonomic design while there is flush camera system.

Platform and Memory

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom features ColorOS6 which is based on Android Pie, along with 6 or 8GBRAM and the fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Octa core Kryo 485 CPU is used Oppo Reno 10x Zoom while the GPU is Adreno 640. As far as memory is concerned, 256GB and 128GB models are present. A micro SD card slot, shared with the sim slot, is present for expansion of the memory up to 256GB.

Camera

Oppo has always tried to do something better with their camera and the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom also comes with 48MP front camera with Laser, OIS and PDAF. A 13MP additional camera with telephoto 5x zoom is present in the front with an 8MP ultra wide lens. Other camera features include Panorama, HDR and an LED Flash.

The selfie camera is 16MP and pops out only when in use, otherwise keeping the screen clear. It has support for video quality of 1080pixesl at 30 frames per second. For sound, a loud speaker is present and the headphone jack is also there with Dolby Auto and active noise cancellation technology.

COMMS

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom has support for dual-band Wi-Fi, direct hotspot, Bluetooth, NFC, Radio and USB Type C 1.0 reversible convertor. Other features include a finger print sensor, compass, gyro, proximity and Push Email. A non-removable Li-Po 4065 mAH battery powers the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom with fast battery charging 20W.
