One Plus 7: The Elegant Phone with a Water drop Notch

One Plus 7 has not released yet but its features are known to the mobile phone community and it is expected that this newer model will have many difference from One Plus 6T which was released last year. The phone comes with a water drop notch and AMOLED display. The 6.41 inches screen is fitted into an aluminum and glass chassis which has been improved.

Release Date and Price

OnePlus 7 is expected to be announced at released in May 2019. It is priced at 39,000 INR, $549 USD and Rs60, 000 in Pakistan. These prices are not confirmed and are subject to change. There are different models of the phone with carrying storage so that would affect the price as well.

Software

OnePlus 7 has Android 9.0 Pie and Oxygen OS 6. Along with that, the chipset is Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon, which will give great speed to the phone. Users will not have to worry about lags when they are using social media apps or playing games on the phone.

Octa-core (1x2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3x2.41 GHz Kryo 485 & 4x1.78 GHz Kryo 485) is the CPU used in the phone and Adreno 640 is the GPU. You can get the phone in two variants; a model with 6GB RAM and a model with 8GB RAM. The storage in both these models is also different; 128GB and 256GB respectively. You cannot expand the memory as there is no card slot.

Camera

OnePlus 7 has a 48MP camera that comes with optical image stabilization. The Sony IMX586 is used in this phone which is the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro. There is also a secondary camera which is 5MP and it also has a flash. The camera of OnePlus 7 is telephone camera as the company wanted to keep up with this new trend. There is a single 16MP selfie camera that has Auto-HDR and video quality of 1080 pixels at 30fps.

Display

OnePlus 7 looks like your average OnePlus phone but there is a chrome finish to the body now which makes the phone look more elegant. There is Optic AMOLED display that has 16M colors. The image quality is 1080*2340 pixels and Corning Gorilla glass is added for protection.

Comparison of OnePlus 7 to OnePlus 6

The newer model from OnePlus is better in terms of battery, outer design and many other features.

1.       The OnePlus 7 has 4150mAH battery which is longer lasting than the Non-removable Li-Po 3700 mAH one on the previous model.

2.       While the OnePlus 7 has a 48MP main camera, the camera of OnePlus6t was 16MP with a 20MP secondary camera.

Miscellaneous

OnePlus 7 has finger print sensor under the display and comes with 4150mAH battery supporting fast battery charging. It is available only in black. More information about the OnePlus 7 will be available on May 14^th.
